An elite pass rusher helps everyone, they need to lock down Hardy and figure out the rest.
We need a linebacker to be able to shoot those gaps and step into those gaps and make those tackles while Hardy is getting double teamed...
We got that linebacker in Ro and he is the only linebacker we have that I think can do it consistently...
I don't trust Sean Lee health at this point...shyt I'd trade him straight up for a 3rd or 4th rounder...
And we are not getting elite pass rusher Greg Hardy surrounded by very good defensive linemen and linebackers...which is who he was in carolina

They could be in the future...
But now..come on...
D-Law missed most of the year..
Crawford had all of 3 sacks...
Plus I think edge rushers like D-Law need at least one really good interior lineman to make that running back or tight end have to step up and double him or at least chip him...
Look at Ware...a good edge rusher...and then the second our interior line got bad how many sacks was he putting up...
And then he went down to Denver playing with Knighton big ass sucking up blockers like a vaccum cleaner and how many sacks did he put up?

Cat's in here making a case for crawford being a good d lineman and he had exactly as many sacks as Selvie...who as you say...is a backup...

Crawford was a damn good player for us and D-Law showed up in 2 playoff games after missing most of the year. Crawford plays inside and unless you're a Sapp type player you don't get a lot of sacks inside. As for your Ware point did you not watch the Broncos? Ware vanished down the stretch just as he did here because he's gotten old and is no longer an impact player.
