Breh no offense but ur buggin lol. We drafted Dlaw last year at the beginning of the 2nd and he wasnt available till week 10 because of injury. Cowboys fans keep worrying about win now mode instead of whats best long term for this franchise. If we draft a rb in the 1st l, we get a 5th year option and the salary will be relatively low considering it would be a late first round pick. No rookie will give this defense a boost like Hardy will.

I dont want to pay hardy for half a season and he aint taking no deal like melton. This type of deals almost never benefits us.

Why does it matter if the RB is taken in the first round or any other round? If a Gordon or Gurley is sitting there at 27, and they are your highest rated RB's, you dont pass on them for the sake of being able to say you didnt draft a RB in the first round.

Yeah I agree don't know whats up with dudes on this short term only he won't be there for six games so lets not sign him. If we could draft an Andrew Luck type QB would somebody say lets not draft him because he would miss half the year if we could know he would be out for sure? I also ask how many wouldn't. Have taken ODB last year since he ended up not playing at the beginning of the season even if you knew it beforehand? That's why these comments make no sense to me. As long as dude not hurt for good I'm good on him and a RB that we could have for years. Just don't understand the short term only views some have.

As long as we don't draft a tight end I'm good with whatever they do. I trust our scouting department now. We can literally draft any position (outside of tight end) in the draft.
