No news on Rivers signing?
We signed Keith Rivers (LB) to a 1 year deal.
I like it. Don't know if terms were disclosed, but it's assumed to be for cheap. Solid move to shore up depth with Carter and McClain hitting FA. Remember, he was a 1st round talent a few years ago...
I really want a pass rusher with our 1st, but if there's no good one available I'd be okay with a CB.
Anybody know how deep this year is at Safety? I know last year had Calvin Pryor and Clinton-Dix and we passed on both. I ain't mad, after seeing what Martin did and flashes from DLaw.

I actually love this signing.
But like you said we really need to do something about our shytty pass rush.

Bpa in the draft breh. Im not opposed to taking a rt, rb, corner, lb, or dt at 27
So we just signed Doug Free to a new 3 year deal.
I wasn't big on resigning him, given that he's 31 and might cost too much, but fukk it. 3 years isn't very long at all, Frederick's deal runs out in 2 years and Martin's deal runs out in 3.
I'm thinking we draft a RT in the middle or later rounds for depth. This signing allows us to focus on getting younger and more talented on defense in the draft, which is what most of us wanted anyways.
I'm pretty happy with the move. Between us nabbing Keith Rivers on a 1 and reupping Free for 3 and Philly dumping Shady, I'd say this off-season is off to a good start brehs.

Hes an O lineman not a running back 31 is cool for lineman. I don't care much about the offseason unless we making big splashes or doing something stupid. Outside of that its just whatever for the most part since we know they not about to get any big time oh shyt FA.

Looks like Murray isnt coming back. We should go hard after AP now. If we get him we can tryly go BPA in the draft and not have to reach for a rb.
