Say what you will about PS+, and it certainly merits much of the criticism, but Sony doesn't require a subscription to it for you to play free games (Fortnite, Destiny, Apex, Call of Duty Warzone). Xbox Live is garbage, one of many reasons the Xbox brand is failing.
