Square Enix is planning to reveal what's next for the franchise on September 1 during the publisher's Final Fantasy 25th anniversary celebration in Japan.

Among the presentations is the "Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Saga: New Developments Presentation" taking place on September 1, during which Square Enix has promised to reveal what's next for the Final Fantasy XIII project. The game's producer, director, and art director will be in attendance, as well as other members of the staff. Since Square Enix is focused on FFXIII and its main character Lightning, it sounds like the publisher is planning to announce Final Fantasy XIII-3.

How the fukk does this disappointment to the franchise get two sequels and it's own spin-off series while the only two games that actual gamers want (Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy Versus 13) have been getting pushed back for almost 6 years now?

to square. Once they dipped on exclusivity they fell off a cliff. Ff is meant to be played on ps ( not to hate on Xbox ) they dipped on what people care about and instead making Wack sequels . Who the hell wants 13-3???? Those long convoluted ass stories ( I loved ff but 12 felt like a chore to me ,13 was on rails. These nicca need to know kingdom hearts 3 and a male protagonist in ff

And they havent even dropped the guaranteed money maker yet either...a Kingdom Hearts HD Collection.
