Streets of Rage also has hella ripoffs. And of course there's Kenji Yamamoto, the DBZ Kai composer - back in the 80s and 90s, he was only composing the DBZ video games, and he also did the Budokai games, and there's hella ripoffs. The only reason he wound up getting shytcanned was because his dumbass was 1:1 plagiarizing songs from Avatar and Terminator 4 when they had just came out :mjlol:

Some Sonic "covers:"

And with Sonic CD it's too much to do at once but listen to 808 State's album ex:el and then listen to Sonic CD's japanese soundtrack (as well as the soundtracks to Sonic 2 8-bit and Sonic Chaos, which had the same composers as CD):

The most direct one

Koji Kondo took inspiration from several sources. Didn't know Miles was one of them.

I thought he got the inspiration from this:

Overworld inspiration

Starman theme

Beat me to it :salute:

Listen to Larry Graham and you’ll hear parts of the underground theme from Mario:

You can also tell where they got Zelda’s Lullaby. All of that started with Mort Garson’s Plantasia.

Them Japanese composers plagiarize the hell out of everything. :mjlol:

shyt, dude even ripped off a Disturbed song that FUNimation used in the English dub for Cooler's Revenge :russ:

Copied the intro for this:

And the main riff for this (which fittingly plays when you're fighting Metal Cooler in Goku's story mode :mjlol:)
