What they've shown exceeded my expectations so much it ain't even funny. It feels like Spider-Man PS4 energy for Harry Potter, a game developed by fans for fans 
Generally speaking HP games been ass because they were just commercial items to accompany the movies theater releases. Short development times killed most of them, even if there was some good stuff among the mess, especially towards the beginning (Chambers of Secret, Prisoner of Azkaban were not bad games). The fact that it's fans cooking this for a long time, plus that they chose the books as the main point of reference is amazing
Plus the fact that they are "delivered" from having to respect the main narrative and the adventures of Harry must help like crazy. All HP fans ever wanted was to be a student the fukking school, that's it. Now you get to have your "own" story within the universe, so you're in both familiar & unfamiliar territory.
And it looks like a good game too. They've shown a lot of good gameplay ideas all taking from the universe material.

Critically? Doubt it, but it doesn’t really have to knock it out the park to be good, anything 8 or above and its setting charts on fire
