That's one of my gripes with the books. No doubt the house represents some cool traits to have but JK Rowling made them all look like bytchmade scumbags.
Like the Hogwarts battle could have been a great opportunity to have some Slytherin show out for the good guys to show that not all were down with the genocide or supremacists values and drop Death Eater bodies but all of them either ran or joined Voldemort.
