I was really young (born in 86) when Hogan was first on the rise/ I may have missed the wave. He was a mega star in the early 90s but Hollywood was ...even though he was a "heel" breh was so over. He paved the way for the whole blurred lines between "bad guy" heel and "bad ass" heel

I think if I look back...I wouldn't be able to appreciate the older/early Hogan "eat your vitamins even though I'm on the white powder" Hogan (definitely some LOL moments though) but if I rewatched some of the NWO Fukkery I'd still love it.

I actually lived that shyt, there was nothing like it, not even SCSA in the late 90s compared. He was the unquestioned leader, and he was used sparingly, which gave him celebrity status. Not even Brock touches that nowadays. Larger than life unlike any kids' hero b4 or since.

I mean, I was born in 87 and like barely even saw Hulkamania....was a WCW stan for most of the Monday Night Wars....and I still voted for Hulkamania. Hulk Hogan is synonymous with wrestling because of it....
