Very interesting that HBK isn’t a big name in this conversation. Wonder what that says about his ‘legacy’...cock eyed b*stard

So no talk about who is CM Punk?

also,

I used to always think John Cena 2003 & Randy Orton 2003 was actually the wrestling counterpart of ....
the young NBA future
LeBron-Melo-Rookie-Year.png

but Orton definintely transformed into Tim Duncan :heh:
Orton is more melo than he is Duncan

HHH is Kobe.

The Rock is Shaq.

The Rock came up during Austin's peak, was super entertaining, did a bunch of stuff outside of wrestling, but had a short lived run.

HHH, like Kobe, had a contentious relationship with his peers and his rivalry with The Rock is what he's best known for. And though he has a ridiculous work ethic and performed through tons of injuries, he's not the GOAT despite how hard he tries to position himself as one and his run on top was during a weaker era and a low point in popularity:manny:. Also very polarizing on the Internet, with an irrational hatedom and a standom. But they're redeeming themselves with their post-retirement stuff.

And even though Cena is one of my most disliked wrestlers ever while LeBron is my favorite player of all time, the comparisons between the two are very valid lol:lolbron:. Two polarizing stars who came up during the internet era and have great reputations off the court/away from the ring.
:ehh:

I'd say Shaq would be Goldberg

Shaq was and is the most dominant of all time

Shaq is Andre the Giant, the real most dominant of All-time

AJ Styles is Iverson

Pound for pound the best ever

I think you mean Isiah Thomas.

Iverson was a selfish ballhog, never made anybody better, and shot 40% from the field.

Isiah took the Pistons from nothing and turned his band of misfits into one of the greatest teams ever.

Hogan is Babe Ruth

and nah Hogan is Jordan it just doesn't fit your timeline comparison since Jordan came after Magic

I do like the thread concept though!

Yeah, Hogan ruled longer than Stone Cold and was better kayfabe and non kayfabe for the business.

Hell, the only reason wrestling got hot enough in the late '90s for Rock & Austin to become what they did is because Hogan joined the NWO, made wrestling cool again, and forced the WWE to change into the Attitude Era

dusty & flair = bird & magic......LITERALLY.........they even had a promo rockin Celtics & lakers gear.

but I guess we're just supposed to talk about the WWE.:yawn:
Hogan = Jordan
savage = Isaiah
warrior = barkley
rock & Austin = Iverson & kobe
angle = McGrady
undertaker = shaquille

This is pretty accurate.
