I agree.

We are going to need a thread with screencaps of cancelled subs, testimonials of disappointment, a movement of refusal, with momentum that builds.

We can even document what other companies we support instead of giving WWE more energy, money, and/or attention.

fukk Terry.

It's not happening. Anyone who is leaving already has their foot out the door anyway. They were already going to throw the company in the Bushes eventually. Hardcore African-American wrestling fans are just going to swallow this bitter pill. Now, if WWE didn't immediately fire him, tried to hide him for three months and then trot him out for an apology tour, yeah, that would have caused a mass exodus. But it's been a few years now, so much other shyt has happened, WWE has been coy about the idea and hasn't been an in your face inevitability so it's going to be more of a dull, painful disappointment when he gets that HUGE POP on TV, makes his apology/PSA and then goes on to shill every few months like nothing happened. And a lot of black fans are going to be watching it happen.

But since black eyes will be on the product it'd be nice if they made Hogan earn his redemption in a believable way. This could make for a great storyline if handled right. But it won't so I guess we better leave it as is.

What kind of ideas would you have to make it a great storyline...i believe it can be a great one that can be topical and blur the lines of reality

If he does comeback, I very much doubt it would be the full introduce him to a live audience thing

More like he gets the standard legends contract (the one they give to everyone just for video game/ Mattel action figure/merch appearence and then all appearences will be things WWE do with partners similar to the Boys and Girls club, maybe throw his ass on some panel with NAACP or some company to create an anti-racist campaign like Be a Star was for bullying and thats it. They'll have him do that shyt for months and then like Mania or something or a Raw special he may show up way after. But I expect his appearences to be as sporadic as Austin and Harts

Does America not forgive and give second chances? I'm certain they will have him do a lot of community work and raise awareness about racism and that will likely be his primary role as opposed to being on tv every week

the guy just won a major lawsuit and got paid he doesn't really need the money to come back...

I see this as an opportunity to raise awareness about being tolerable to all humans and recognizing that racism exists and people have to exercise their demons to eradicate racism...If someone as successful as Hulk Hogan can succumb to in the modern era it we got a lot of work to do and I think he can potentially turn this negative into a positive for everyone

The Hulk Hogan redemption tour will be the ultimate culmination of the spirit of Hulkamania. As Hulk Hogan battles his greatest nemisis in the history of Hulkamania....Racism.

Through the power of Jesus Christ, the prayers and the support of his fans he will show the world that Hulkamania was always about freedom and love for everyone and despite our demons tempting us to do an say evil things there is always a chance to fight back and defeat them to be a true American and a true Hulkamaniac.
