Not sure what we’re arguing about. “Bring” is an odd word to use when most of us have credit cards and can spend whatever. In terms of dates yes, at least $200 seems normal but it depends on where you go. If you’re out at a restaurant and ordering drinks, $200 makes sense. If you’re meeting for brunch and there’s no alcohol, less makes sense. If it’s a coffee date, same thing.

That’s the point: it depends on what you’re doing. But I’d agree a restaurant lunch or dinner date could easily be $200 or more.
