Its clear a new cultural shift is needed. We need a revival of male oriented pro-black leftist militancy. Also these algorithms on social media are steering too many impressionable and feeble minded young men to reactionary right wing politics (black men included). Fascism and white supremacy is seen as 'cool' and masculine. Progressivism and social justice is seen as too feminine, whiny, and emotional. Young men will always gravitate to the political side that projects the most strength and appears the most 'anti-mainstream'.

You make a valid point, but an ownership shift is needed more than a cultural one. Cultures can shift but social media will continue adjusting that algorithm if it brings in ad revenues. We entertain a narrative of black people that's not controlled by black people. That is the problem.
