Hmm... Why dont "we" play LaCrosse?

I mean, its a sport that seems like you have to be very athletic. We're a naturally athletic people. Seems like the sport would come fairly easy to us. I bet if we took that sport over, it would be a major sport in the country.

My thinking is, becuz it's not one of the sports in the hood. thats all i really got.

My nephew through marriage is playing it for his school out in Brownsville.

A bunch of black kids just a year into it are now good enough to beat the upstate teams!!!

It's not that expensive either.

It's not accessible in most black communities and that sport has no desire to make it accessible.

The sport isn't really that expensive but if it's not available, what can you do?


Same is true for baseball, tennis, rowing, and other sports like it.

My perception has always been that there are more blacks playing lacrosse than hockey in the United States.

If there was more money in it and it was a sport that more African American kids could play a lot of the players in the NBA and NFL would dominate Lacrosse.
