I'm so against the CBDC / digital dollar in all shapes and forms. From the looks of things, it'll likely be here by the end of the 2020s :francis:

I’m at my coffee shop and they’ve had to chain the tip “jar” (it’s a watering can) to the counter. It’s really ridiculous how criminals and the belligerent homeless are being coddled here in a way where we can’t clean anything up, instead, the regular citizens operate in a world of feeling like prisoners in their town - can’t use parks or some sidewalks becuase it’s illegal to clear encampments, can’t shop for personal care items because everything is locked up, can’t park anywhere because your window will get smashed, can’t ride bart because of naked homeless people/drug abusers sprawled dikk out over the seats…man fukk this

Sh*tty human behavior and it will get worse before it gets better. The real reason why all civilizations collapse.

it's not just about human behavior, it's the weird "compassion" virtue signaling that has made it so governments don't do shyt to address it and those who speak out against it get chastised...we're in a cycle where the quality of life in cities is going down, sort of like the 70's/80's, except the cost of living in them is going up...at least when cities bottomed out in the 70's-90's, prices went down. this shyt is untenable

" In 2020, a study by London’s Science Museum Group’s Digital Lab used image processing to analyze photographs of consumer objects manufactured between 1800 and the present. They found that things have become less colorful over time, converging on a spectrum between steel and charcoal, as though consumers want their gadgets to resemble the raw materials of the industries that produce them. If The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit once offered a warning about conformity, he is now an inspiration, although the outfit has gotten an upgrade. Today he is The Man in the Gray Bonobos, or The Man in the Gray Buck Mason Crew Neck, or The Man in the Gray Mack Weldon Sweatpants — all delivered via gray Amazon van. The imagined color of life under communism, gray has revealed itself to be the actual hue of globalized capital. “The distinct national colors of the imperialist map of the world have merged and blended in the imperial global rainbow,” wrote Hardt and Negri. What color does a blended rainbow produce? Greige, evidently."

Maybe if the government would build some fukking houses it wouldn’t be a problem
US government is perfectly capable of feeding and housing everyone in their own countries many times over
But we have the current system, because it’s less profitable to house and feed everyone
Food is a commodity and so is housing, something to speculate on
