To be fair, there's a massive gulf between everyone praising something and people outright clowning something.

I don't even think a lot of people realize Alc raps. He's been rapping since before he was even making beats, and on every YT video with him rhyming, there's always comments with hundreds (if not thousands in some cases) of likes about how "I didn't even know he rhymed at all."

He's far from the best rapper, but his rapping at the moment isn't embarrassing. He sounds like a dude that's having fun with Roc Marci's flow. He didn't rap from the mid 2010's until now. Boldy and Currensy some other friends encouraged him to start doing it again a little bit just for fun.

Al's rapping is fine. His voice sounds smoked out and older now which adds to the appeal IMO
