Hit-Boy produced 6 Nas albums, so what modern era producer could do the same for Jay-Z????

What present day producer could supply Jay-Z heat like Hit-Boy did for Nas

A Jay-Z and Knxwledge album would be crazy

So would a Hov and Budgie album

Apollo Brown can sometimes feel a little same-y, but I'd be interested in what they'd cook up.

Black Milk might take Hov in another direction but I'm not sure they'd be a good fit

The first 2, though. I actually think that would be a perfect blend for a full album.

Knxwledge & Budgie

My answer would be OVO 40. He started producing in 2002 but didn’t get his big break until he produced drake in 2009. So he slides in the time frame

He makes beats that literally anybody can get introspective on and sound good.

Fukk no
i was literally gonna say why not start with last guy Hov did a whole project with :gucci: 1 album already out the way

OP musta been sleepy making this thread

444 had terrible beats outside of Family Fued, and Mercy Me

Jay’ not gonna go with an “underground” producer for an entire album. If he chooses one producer to do his entire album it’ll be an event. I think Metro or Boi-1da are the only two that currently fit that criteria.

I personally think when he eventually drops it’ll be a multi-producer album. He’ll go the opposite of what Nas is doing. I could see a mixture of the old & new so maybe the usual suspects of Just Blaze, Swizz, Pharrell, and throw in some Metro, Mustard, Mike Will Made It for variety
