Somebody explain why we’re giving Jews anything? We had nothing to do with the holocaust..

We're not giving Jews reparations. I don't know why people keep telling that lie on this forum. The US DISTRIBUTES reparations to Jews living in the US which is paid for by Germany, Austria, etc. The United States haven't really given anybody reparations except for the Japanese they put in those camps. The Indians got awarded 1.3 billion in reparations in the early 1900s but they never really got that money which amounted to about 1000 per Indian. The money was put in trusts managed by the US government and was mismanaged. The reservations, casinos, etc are NOT REPARATIONS but actually their own land that they fought wars and died over and still maintain due to peace treaties that were carved out after the wars.

The tweet in the OP clearly says AUSTRIA and GERMANY gave reparations to Jewish people so I dont understand your point
However-
The United States pressured Germany into giving reparations to the Jewish people and helped Jewish people sue France for reparations yet they don't have that same energy when it comes to African Americans
