History of Madden

Madden is infinitely better than in 1989 but it still can't touch those 2k games that were released. I wish the NFL would lose the exclusive rights deal with Madden so we could have both games competing with each other again.

Never forgot TS beating me 81-6 in that version.

fakkits like yall are why the game is shyt now. they took away precision passing and I still be fukking up my throws cause Im used to it.

QB vision they took away...it was so ill that if your flashlight was on a player the whole play the defense would gravitate towards him. Had to release the ball quick. Brilliance.

I think it was 05 where you could do a hitch route to the left all the time, but doing a hitch route to the right was an interception/incomplete

Pretty much, the vision was a great addition. Brought another dimension to the game. Actually had the ability to look off the D and whoever you were playing. Cats were just use to dropping back ten yards and flinging the ball around the field. 04-05 Madden also had the best control of the defense, if you were in position with a D-back you were gunna at least knock down the ball. Now your defenders go into retarded animations and miss the ball completely.

Precision passing is still in madden breh da fukk you talking bout

And qb vision was trash and flawed

nikkas who knew how to play would just blitz every play and use the safety to follow the vision and pick that shyt off and if you tried to hurry and look at another receiver you would get sacked before you had a chance

My little bro perfected that shyt and you couldn't complete a pass on that nikka at all unless you threw it as soon as you hiked the ball

Like I said worst feature ever

Madden 07 was the worst though, there was a nasty bug where if you spread your d-line out and blitz your MLB, you could use your safety and run right up the middle, the center wouldn't block you

Or how about the one with Vick on the cover you could shift you line so that you DT was directly over the center and press L2(I think) as soon as the ball is snapped and just throw the center to the side and either get the sack or tackle the RB for a loss every play

And you could do that shyt every play no matter who the DT or center was

I used to abuse that shyt so much nikkas would only line up in shotgun cause that was the only way you could get a pass off

Why did they even take that out

I should be able to have Ngata play DE and Suggs play LB in a 3-4 then have Ngata play DT and Suggs move to DE in dime and nickel packages

madden games used to be chess matches when me and my nikkas played
