we came a long way but I still feel like compared to other sports NFL is lacking behind the NBA, MLB and Hockey in terms of video game authenticity.

Baseball holds the crown tho. MLB the show is :wow: status

Yeah. I'd argue that the NFL is the hardest to model though based on the complexity of the player interactions.

For real though NFL 2K2 with Moss on the Cover was some shyt too. Got that as a christmas gift with PS2.

Madden 2004 is the goat sports game though. Franchise mode was revolutionary. Without that, there would be no 2K5. Although the hitstick in Madden 05 was a great edition.

:wow: shyt is incredible

Madden 04 did revolutionize the franchise mode, and 05 was the best Madden imo.

The way coordinators/head coaches had ratings for their position was greatness, and they would progress if you won with that coach.

Eff a connected career, I'd rather have the old owner mode back with some tweaks :to:

real talk like i said in the other thread. I dont remember the ps2 gen madden games having issues with playing defense and stuff. and franchise mode was great for its time. It seems like a peak was reached with madden 07 in terms of quality. granted, you could master the game and murk the computer on all madden if you were a beast but at least when playing humans you could test real skill and every game wasnt a shootout.

now its impossible to tackle in open field, catch a player, impossible to control a corner or safety on defense well, and when playing the computer they simply cheat. I havent gone over all defensive controls but still. I can pick the perfect blitz to isolate the rb, guess that the play is a run to the right for instance...and McFadden will still get a phantom block, break 5 tackles and break out for 40 yards :manny:. Theres not muc you can do in such situations. You can throw a perfect pass right in a receivers numbers and theyll drop it wide open. Etc etc.

:what:

2K already had franchise mode with NFL 2K in 2000. Only thing you couldn't do was relocate your them.

2000 Review :ohlawd: Bring NFL 2K series back please. 2K have always kicked EA ass.
