And to the eventual ousting of Clarence Thomas who will be undoubtedly replaced by an even more middle of the road, right leaning centrist white man to appease moderates even though there were over half a dozen other qualified Black Women as candidates ready to be confirmed along side Ketanji Brown Jackson just two months ago.

Congrats to Judge KBJ but this ain't tangibles IMO. It's one person on a still conservative SC. Dems don't have the heart to push to expand the Court and don't plan on delivering tangibles to Black folks on a national level, but yall still gonna celebrate like we actually won something.

He was the architect of the legal strategy that ended the country's official policy of segregation and was the first African American to serve on the Supreme Court. He served as Associate Justice from 1967-1991 after being nominated by President Johnson.
