Hipster girls mad all these hoes are coopting their movement. Hipster girls started out average with the occasional dime who used to be a nerd. Now its just a lot of dimes, dressing the part of hipster but actually being your standard hoe.

its true some are...but like i said it depends on where you are too. Social groups cross over alot in Detroit, so u might get the occasional normal ho who got with the style, and then u might have a regular nikka looking cat that fukks with all the strange music...:manny:

its weird here, but detroit is becoming a hipster haven truthfully.

the look mostly people couldn't take hipsters in real life unless they were one or have great skills in conversation.

I love them personally....i'll post some in a few.. @spinoza is that guy when it comes to hipster chick...
I love hipster girls, i am trying to go to Living Room this week and see what's up there, i like their looks and everything about even when they are being fake. BK people where are the best spots to get them now, have not been in that area for awhile, being going to The Jane and Westway for my hipster fix:cook:

The girl I mess wit lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn...:noah:...she's trying to make the full transition from a bay area semi-hood asian chik to a Brooklyn hipster..I love going to bars over there...chiks over there be cute as shyt and noooone of them are fat. It's like the hoodlums and rats out here in bk don't even know about this part of town...and these bars have cheap drinks with drugs easily available(if you're into that stuff)....:ohlawd: I'm going to be out there tomorrow night.
Where are the spots, i am going there tonight. BTW the hipster asian girl, would she happen to a photographer?

is there a common ideology that hipsters share?

anyone can put on goofy glasses and dress like a homeless aerobics instructor...but that doesn't mean they are a true hipster.

what belief systems, philosophies and ideas do true hipsters share?

thats why i said earlier that you can't even really define it...there are art hipsters, music hipsters, movie hipsters, engineering hipsters, whatever...

the word is empty and it means nothing, its just a blanket term people threw on trendy white kids who moved back to the city and eat organic...

you still might see hipsters at Sonic like "fukk it"

The women in these pictures aren't the real hipsters.

Hipsterism is about being independent, doing your own thing, not doing things just because they are popular. Being stylish, but being way ahead of the trends.

Caring about world events, knowing politics, having an opinion--a "well-thought out" opinion. Being well read. Independent movies are regularly watched.

Like me, Back then. When ever something got popular, I no longer liked it. I was always trying to find some clothing brand, artist, movie that nobody heard of and was some kind of hidden gem. Sure, I would buy things at places like Villians or some boutique in berkeley, but I would be more satisfied if I found something at a Thrift store, and got comments on that.

You can't just stop being a hipster. I still am one, it's just I have conformed more for economic reasons. I still have that mindset.

My good friend is a hipster still (in mind) and he's now a partner in a firm making 100's of thousands. He still says things like, "you've got to watch this film" or ," have you heard of this band?". He would never admit to being one even though he is and always has been.
