The West really delivered on all front, Kendrick and Tyler even dropped early contenders for album of the decade :wow:
Kendrick delivering a masterpiece everytime he drops something is nothing new, thats the standard he set. One of the best discographies in music. But props to Tyler for actually having improved. His first albums weren't all that.

I think this is pretty spot on, even the ranking seems accurate.

I'd say top 2 are classics, rest are good too though.

Hard to argue against that. Kendrick definitely had the undisputed aoty, followed by Tyler. I'd say Q should have been 3 :ehh:

My personal favorite was probably LL Cool J, but can't lie it was more of a guilty pleasure.

Vince Staples and Roc Marci had the best rap albums this year IMO. GNX is dope but I'd probably have it in the 4-6 range if I sat down and finished my list properly. I like Blue Lips more.

Like Ebro said, Kendrick dropped the only perfect album this year, Tyler's is probably 4.5 mics.

After that, it's only albums that go from 2 to 3.5 mics.
