Only Southern Rappers that were pissed was the ones that were getting over making bullshyt music and were overreacting at having their cars pulled (Souljah Boi, them Laffy Taffy nikkas) no RESPECTABLE Southern artist were offended because they Nas the common sense to understand that Nas wouldn't be so retarded as to diss an entire region for the demise of Hip Hop. Never heard Bun B, Scarface, Andre 3000, Goodie Mob, etc speak a word against Nas or the album title. Even the supposed comments from T.I were proved as false. The only reason Jeezy went off oN that radio show was because Monie Love was instigating, after he calmed down he apologized and later went on to collaborate with Nas.

Again, SD sold Platinum, which Gods Son and Stillmatic previously had sold, SD sold more than GS first week so why would Nas be pissed about his sales?

Perhaps I should rephraise what I meant. When I said underground, I dont mean the artists, I mean mainly the black market as in the mixtapes because thats where you hear the artists put out their best material in album like formats whereas when they putting out major releases, They have to cater to more bosses and basically focus on putting out billboard hits.

Real headz always are on up on the latest mc before they blow up, this is nothing new. That's why I don't understand people complaining all the time.

The music keeps coming, and its even more abundant now, because you don't have to wait for the retail album to drop.
