Rubio looks sane when he stands next to the Republican field but when he turns evangelical he sounds as extreme as Ted Cruz. A general election debate is not won by using party debate strategies. I hear people talking about how Trump can pivot to the center after the primary and to attract voters from the other side he would need to use a different approach. The limited number of presidential debates does not lend itself to the type of strategy Trump has been using in the primary. He can only get 2 or 3 shots and the debates tend to be a lot more focused than what these primary debates look like.

So. Cal
i think were going to see the public ultimately turn on trump, theres going to be a large rush of celebs etc who start campaigning against him themselves

sheen? thats a surprise but you never know

the gop might turn their backs on him, probably not because if they do he'll run as a independent which essentially kills any chance of whoever they nominate

i dont think it even matters who the dems nominate, nobody wants to see trump win
How long are you going to hold this up?

Assuming they both win their respective primaries of course, which seems likely now.

And I don't even like Hillary...I'm a Bernie stan. But she's going to embarrass him...vulgarly (is vulgarly even a word?).

That p*ssyboy Rubio had Trump shook and stuttering by simply standing up to his attacks and pressing him for specifics. But the Republican primary audience is a bunch of knuckledragging proto-humans, so it didn't matter. When the audience is the whole country things will go over a lot different.

Mark my words. Bookmark this thread and up it in the fall.
People don't vote because of debates. People have their minds made up.

as far as this thread, im gonna have to say; ill believe it when i see it

on the one hand, his team can easily get a couple one minute policy speaking points ready for him in that time. since when do candidates get into policy in debates :what: they say some vague bullshyt for like half a minute

on the other hand, hes gonna get up there and say shyt like 'at least im not under investigation" and get a buncha :krs: moments

now maybe im wrong, on this im not sure. but i will say, tag me when it happens :yeshrug:
Once again in this thread we are underestimating just how much people hate her.

Not even that...its the charitable foundation of the candidate's former president husband that is accepting Wall Street money.
I guess Doctors Without Borders is up to shenanigans too since they take money from Wall Street too.
lmao that's just what they disclose, and not even for her speeches. You guys cant be naive to think they give to her for no reason.

I think y'all inderestimating the white blue collar/union workers. A lot of them vote Democrat in presidential elections, but I suspect that Trump will dominate that demographic. He will do a lot better in the Rust Belt than people think. You already know he will do well in the South.

100% agreed. I think people on here are really underestimating just how much momentum and support Trump has with blue collar workers. He will do a lot better in the northeast than people think. I still think Shillary would win NY/MA/CT but VT/NH/ME/RI may go #Trumpset.

This is why #FeelTheBern would be the far better candidate in the generals.

He'd keep the blue states and all he'd have to do is get a couple of the swings and bam, its 270
