yep, it's just like growing tomatoes. it's only worth it if you're experienced and have a large operation. otherwise it's just something you do for your own satisfaction. you spend $40, wait months, to yield $5 worth of tomatoes. that's why most people just buy them at the store

how much of the Mexican drug trade is Marijuana? honest question

legalizing drugs usually refers to marijuana but would that really put a stop of just cause the rest to spike up

That would be a good thing. Then we can legalize those as well.

it seems to have more to do with the constant battle over Indians tax-exempt status. I have mixed feelings about that

Cigarettes are legal yet they are still sold illegally at great profit.

How can you have mixed feelings about Native Americans?

well the legality of them selling and transporting them is what's in question. as far as the injins are concerned, they're selling them legally

I just don't know if they should keep their special status forever (tax exempt, gambling, etc). it doesn't seem sustainable in the long run

I read estimates that Marijuana is upwards of 60+% of their profits. 1 in 6 prisoners are in prison for marijuana.

they used to sell them at a bodega by me, but that got shut down. there's always gonna be a market for cheaper stuff, but you have to factor the risks involved. cigarettes are highly regulated because of taxes and age restrictions, so selling them illegally is quite risky

You would be surprised its probably a few hundred million dollar business and that's just the areas I know of. If its the same way around the country billions I would imagine. There's a lot people involved it's similar to marijuana distribution.

Most people buy their cigarettes legally though. The same would be for a legalized Marijuana market. A legal regulated market allows for purity and other things like knowing the THC content of said marijuana.

Wrong. Good Herb is easy to grow if you know what you're doing and with the internet available anyone can do it. Also, small operations tend to have much better herb than large due to not having to spend as much money and time to grow the herb. If you find someone with their own herb who knows how to grow and compare it to herb from a dispensary, chances are it will blow your mind but that is if you can find it being that those people grow for themselves and not to make money. Where do you think garbage herb comes from?. It's from large operations that can get it to a lot of people who don't have access to herb in general and they can make a lot of money. They don't really care about being the best. You should know that Subroc. I know your peachfuzz is gone by now.

it ain't easy. notice how you said someone "who knows how to grow". a lot of people just don't have the time or patience for all that. almost everyone must go through a few crops before getting it right

plus it's expensive to grow indoors because of the cost of electricity. so again that goes back to the issue of doing it just for personal satisfaction, as opposed to doing it because it's cheaper or easier. and much of the current high price of trees has to do with the fact it's illegal. even the dispensaries are still going off 'street prices'. most people think that would all change if it were to become completely legal
