and we also need to present topics in the form of questions rather than just asking opinions on general topics.

i also think we should aim for one 60-75 minute podcast per week instead of one 2-hour podcast every two weeks.

We can't even get enough people to together at the same time to do one once every two weeks, much less every one.

Btw, I won't be able to do any more on weekdays once the new year starts. In 2013 I'll only be available on Sunday again.

I think you guys need to set for the next podcast to go up right after the debate. Like have a list of shyt to talk about and then have a segment about shyt the politicians didn't talk about and then a general response to how the debates went....trajectory, etc. That's easy viewers and that one could be streamed like on youtube.

I just have a vague discomfort with my voice staying up on the youtubez forever.. although I know it's almost a moot point when the podcasts are already out there. I guess as long as I acquit myself as a mature adult and say nothing that will be potentially embarrassing in the future then it should be okay

I completely agree, but I just see the Geekset guys stream live on youtube. It worked well. Believe me, I don't like my voice on anything. I'm just looking at it from an opportunity standpoint.

Me too. Our current joint is on the net anyway on podomatic, but talking about politics, religion and stuff on youtube unsettles me a bit. Everybody is on youtube.

thats why we should create a schedule and have the show on specified days for a specific amount of time. so for example 8-9:15pm every tuesday i know im doing the podcast. we start on time we end on time and we have the topics laid out at least 24 hours beforehand. its just a matter of getting organized.

right now we're just a bunch of guys getting together and talking. we're not being very strategic about what we're doing. and thats okay im not knocking it cuz i still think we produce a helluva show. but we are being mediocre, mostly because our efforts have been mediocre. the show would be 100x better if we all just met for an extra 20 mins during the week to plan things out.

again im not knocking it cuz the show is fun. but we could do it a lot bigger with some organization and some innovation.
