how does a kid even consume social media.... don't they have to have certain things for that? if you know your kids aint the shapest tool in the shed, maybe don't give them a cell phone a tablet a laptop and unlimited wifi. just a thought :hubie:
Kid could be the brightest & 24/7 consumption of the bad will affect them

You keep skating around other grown adults enabling them tho.

You one of them only for self I see lol

Unfortunately you’re not alone on this Google earth

white parents would’ve staged a boycott of the school, demanded the principal resign, pull their kids from the school etc

We don’t give a shyt :unimpressed:

No they wouldn’t. I mean for a Black artist, sure.
But if Ariana Grande was invited to perform at a high School. White parents would show up to watch. And Ariana’s music is pretty sexual in its own right.

I been telling @Thurgood Thurston III

This for years

Old out of shape underwhelming looking dudes been pulling baddies for years

He refuse to believe me

It's just entertainment.

:francis:

@CrimsonTider would take kids to see her & have a great time.

Music has no influence :manny:

Rap has no influence brehs

Have the kids done anything after this video that was influenced by this performance? Which lyric in particular?

I don't agree with this shyt AT ALL, but you guys didn't prove that this influenced anything.

Listening to and cheering on a world famous performer =/= influence, unless you guys have a different definition of the word

that's where we differ, cuz i am saying a smart kid will not allow media consumption to effect them. not only did i post a video of a kid saying "i just see it as music".. i also was one of them, and i assume a lot of yall that are finger wagging a lot are too because yall sure do love to brag about how good yall are doing in life lol

Your argument is in bad faith. Nobody here is saying this one performance will change a kid. Consistently consuming this type of content will have an affect. Grown ass adults enabling it is the problem

Hmmm no legal jargon today to support your point

The bolded means absolutely nothing to me. A kid could say seeing her pops beat her mom daily had no affect. All while allowing her current bf to do the same

Things in life can & will influence you Consciously or subconsciously . These are facts. All I’m saying is why as an adult enable it? Do you have kids? Would you allow them to listen to drill/thot rap & rhoa 24/7? Regardless of how smart you think they are

Let’s be clear tho both of y’all opinion differs from mine. I think we all want best for the youngins tho :salute:

No, the implication was that we are looking at the results of the influence

Otherwise what would be the point of sarcastically saying "Rap has no influence brehs"?

It's possible that consistently consuming this type of content will have an effect, but that's not those posts were saying. They absolutely were implying that it ALREADY had an effect

yet you seem to deny that parenting can have a positive influence :jbhmm:
hey i guess yall know yourselved and your kids better than i do :yeshrug:

to answer your question, i dont think there is such a thing as a smart kid who consumes anything 24/7.... i already spoke on that in the thread, you must have missed it.

what excuse did i make :jbhmm:

and speaking of excuses..."cuz social media" is an excuse. i know i don't be on there much, so how does one go about blaming a child's behavior on social media? the record companies didn't put a device in front of yall kids face when yall were too tired to do something productive with them. yeah, this thread is full of excuses, but it has nothing to do with me :hubie:
