I always thought... if heat travels up why is it so cold in the sky?

Heat does not travel up. Heat dissipates and flows outwards. Like the earth absorbs energy (from the sun I suspect) and radiates the energy as heat, which then dissipates into our atom-O-sphere. So the farther you are from the radiating object the less heat you feel, hence as you move away from the earth's surface it seems to get colder.

Now there are alot of other factors that go into it, like atmospheric pressure and such but thats the gist.

What makes dogs happy like all the time? Missing eye's, legs, sick, on deaths bed dogs still want to play and show people love.


What are they thinking about that makes them so happy? What do they know that we dont?

it may just be something in their dna where they are wired to be naturally happy

From what I heard the dogs we have now are the ones us humans have been "domesticating" (dunno if that's an english word), basically it's the ones we've selected over centuries to be our companions. So they are "genetically" prone to being close to us. On the contrary cats have never been domesticated, that's why they're don't care for us as much as dogs do.
