Phones with slide out keyboards? :pachaha:

Only OEM to get physical keyboards right was RIM.

Doubling the size/weight of the phone just for a physical keyboard? tacky :scusthov: I'm happy the whole slide out shyt is dead... garbage

I'm waiting for Sammy to drop a nice amoled qwerty beast on verizon, that droid 4 is discusting. I've been on touch phones for the last two years steady dreaming of the day today's specs can grace the physical buttons.

fukk that... my droid 2 keyboard >>>

i'm saying though :myman:

...this keyboard is unbreakable. And fukk i'd rather carry a phone with a slide out physical keyboard, it really doesn't make the phone all that much heavier in my pockets.

Weight of iPhone 4: 4.9oz (140gms)
Weight of Moto Droid2: 6.0oz (160gms)

...negligible weight differences

A physical keyboard IS better, but I'm not going to give up a huge, beautiful touchscreen to get it.

I know sliders exist but I don't like them. Besides, I like "portrait" configured keyboards a la Blackberry vs landscape keyboards a la the Droid/G2 and others.

BUT, most screens are not that much bigger. Only some phones like the new Samsungs, HTCs or w.e. else have much bigger screens, but those feel TOO big. Like how i'm supposed to fit them in my pockets man? And no i don't prefer tight jeans, but still, comparing screen sizes:

Motorola Droid 2: (4.58 x 2.38 x 0.54) inches
Apple iPhone 4s: (4.5 x 2.31 x 0.37) inches
Samsung Galaxy S3: (5.48 x 2.78 x 0.34) inches

While I would LOVE ( :datazz: )to have a phone with a screen size that rival's that of the Galaxy S3, I don't want it. Its a phone...i don't want it to be that big for something that should be portable. that's why i have a tablet/laptop and other pieces of tech. But, to each his/her own.
