Ironically HBP is too much water being retained in the blood. Lower your salt/processed food intake. HBP can lead to strokes and kidney failure. Ironically by drinking lots of water you can help turn things plus all the other stuff people posted

Anybody familiar with Lysinopril?

That's medication for HBP.
I don't have any advice for you except lower your salt intake. AAs as a whole should only consume about 1,500mg of sodium. When/if you keep track you'll probably see that you've been consuming too much.
