These debates always happen... never be resolved.

on one side you got

the original ancient egyptians(kemet) were black, the moors were black

on the other side you got

the ancient egyptians looked like puerto ricans, the moors were arabs

people will believe what they want to

waste of energy

Funny thing is when white people would classify light skinned people here in the US as black yet when you talk about ancient egypt and shyt, hold it, they're white or "mixed" or ufo's built the pyramids or something wild like that just to discredit the black origin of khemet.

i think this is a debate that hasn't been resolved. I'm no expert on the subject

There were in fact Black Moors.

But a majority of them were North African Berbers and Arabs.

"Black" Moors were minorities within the Moorish ranks

Posting selective pictures does not prove anything at all.

Anything that speaks on black people contributing to history gets shot down by white people. It is what it is. Unless its the peanut, lemonade, or fried chicken, they dont want to hear it.

somewhat true but some Blacks (especially Black-American Afrocentrics) get crazy with it and start claiming ridiculous things that discredit our real contributions and accomplishments to humanity. Films like Hidden Colors end up doing more harm than good because the errors in it become seen as sensationalist propaganda. I understand giving people a self-esteem and an ego boost but it needs to be done with accurate facts and not speculative myths and delusional fantasy.

The Moors were not Black. But they did have Blacks amongst them.

:usure:? Even if you ignore all the historical evidence of who the moors were, the etymology of the word moor tells you something differently.

Mora - spanish for blackberry
Morena - spanish for dark hair
Moricaud - french for dark skinned
Morillon - black grape
Mora - itallian for black grape

Not only that there's tons of pictures of old pictures painted during the times the moors were ruling Europe that shows them darker than crunchy black. Here's one found in the Cantigas of Santa Maria
