Y'all act like these skills are easy to learn
I googled being a plumber and it take like 5 years to get on...and that's a full time career...u have to be dedicated
I want it now....I put in the work...Im ready
Breh you googled. You didn't even ask an actual person, you didn't even inquire, you didn't even search for that type of job online
It takes 5 years to be a Journeyman experienced Plumber, not to just be a Plumber. As a trainee, you'll be making about $13-14 an hour. Same for all the other trades. In a year, your salary would be about 45k. A cable TV installer first year about 50k to 55k. So that money to stack ain't better than what you making/suffering with now?
I'm not saying doing a trade as a "Plan B", I'm saying do it as an "intermission" as you reach your goal. Let me put in in laymans terms. You see some Rappers who sold coke before they became a rap star. Was their main objective to be a coke dealer all their life? No, it was to get out the hood and make something of themselves. That coke money paid for their studio time, that money paid for the DJ to spin their record, that money bought them a car to meet tour dates, etc etc
Life ain't no Disney movie. You not gonna be walking down the street feeling depressed, holding up your art work, and them some agent is gonna come up to you like, "Oh my god, you're going to hollywood
". Success isn't about the fast lane, it's slow and methodical, deal with it
