Rush Hour 2 is one of the truly classic Buddy Cop movies. A pinnacle of the genre. There is not an OUNCE of fat on that film, all the jokes land, Chris Tucker was at his peak, Jackie Chan was still that dude with the stunts and athleticism, just one of those movies where everything comes together perfectly.

Part 1 is great too. Part 3 is a MAJOR let down and didn’t have either the story or direction to makeup for the time that had passed

Damn.... he aint gon be in rush hour 3 :wow:

See its THIS type of shyt that lets you know Chris was in his prime, they should have IMMEDIATELY shot part 3 soon after part 2 proved successful and we would be talking about a classic trilogy

1 and 2 were classics, I can watch them over and over again. It really helped introduce jackie and chris tucker to a wider mainstream audience. It's like something that shouldn't have worked but worked perfectly.

Exactly! I be trying to explain this shyt to nikkas. The first two movies have to be fresh in your mind to understand the jokes. I didnt even see Rush Hour 3 till it was showing on tnt/tbs and thought it was :skip:: then i copped that walmart 4 dvds for 1 Chris Tucker edition and the movie was funny when all the references make since.
