As taught by Elijah Muhammad. NOI members were taught to eat one meal a day , or one meal every other day. This is enough to sustain you , and will cure most ills. Only Pigs continue to eat when they are not hungry.

There are def big health benefits to on-off fasting. I saw a good documentary on it. You pig out one day and then eat like a rabbit the next. For gainzz prob not ideal but for health its a proven strategy.

Was it the BBC (no homo) documentary? The one that had the 100 year old dude runnin marathons?

Yea and the other dude who was like 120lb and only ate like 300kcal of apple and orange peels a day

This lifting shyt is cool for now but I think I'm gonna crossover to that when I get older. Lot of big lifters don't die old

We're programmed to eat 3 balanced meals from when we're very young so I can see why it seems weird to some.

Word. That's why I don't even try to put people up on game anymore. People at work stay giving me the :usure: look when they see me not eating breakfast or lunch at the office, just drinking ice water and diet soda. nikka behind me claims he trying to lose weight, but stays eating McD's breakfast biscuits and Bojangles' chicken for lunch. And still wondering why he ain't dropping lbs.

It is eating too much protein, specifically animal protein, that is the main cause of sickness, and shorter lifespan. There was a documentary on the bbc about this, I can't find it because youtube took it down, but if I find another video, I will post it.

As for Herschel Walker, his diet is not good, especially for mental health, when you are doing a lot of thinking, and physical activity. It may be the cause of his mental illness.

He says the protein keeps igf-1 going, and this is the cause of the health problems.

This is why i eat my high protein foods in the daytime when I'm active, and at night I just eat low protein foods. The low protein foods also help give me a good deep sleep.

Eating high soluble fiber foods also helps keep you healthy because the slow absorption of the food helps the body in giving it enough time to repair the cells. When food is absorbed too fast, problems occur in the repair, and this is sickness. So if you eat meat, drink some psyillium husk before, or right after your meal to slow down absorption. Just drink it with some orange or grape juice if drinking it plain isn't your thing.
