Cain and gingrich would have been a great combo, both pimps and would have been much more entertaining than romney and the other nerdy looking chump, who's name I have forgot, oh yes paul ryan. Thats what the romney camp never understood but mcain did, people these days want to be entertained, they want sex and scandal, they want charisma even if there isn't much to back it up, hence why he picked palin and it was probably despite what the media,say the only good decision he made in his entire rubbish campaign. The stats back this up.especially before the financial crash,palin was giving the obama campaign problems hence why the media parachuted all those reporters into alaska to dig the dirt up on her. It's a cynical attitude, but it's the difference between winning and losing these days. The romans understood it, people want to be entertained and aroused. They don't want the bland ,obama is anything but bland,and that really helps him. For instance can you imagine, romney getting all flirty with snookie from jersey shore, on the 'tonight show', and snookie saying 'she wanted to be like him' and romney sending her presents when she was in labour? and snookie taking a selfy with anne romney and mitt? No I can't but gingrich pulled it off.
So cain and gingrich, the republicans were bound to lose whatever, it's very hard to dislodge a sitting president and the republicans had rubbish to pick from, one religious nut who was obessed with banning male/female anal sex (santorum), another religious nut who believed in the apocalypse bringing about the second coming (bachmann), a kindly looking old man with some decent ideas but also some insane ones, and also he had an unfortunate link with some racist newsletters (ron paul) a corporate shill who made a living stripping companies of their assets and making people redundant perfect in trying economic times..... who also had the charisma of a damp rag (romney) ,an extremely good looking man (no homo) ,looked very presidential but not much unfortunately behind the ears who was doped up on painkillers thanks to a back injury (rick perry) , or extremely intelligent, maybe one of the best political minds in politics world wide, an extremely good debater , a political gutter fighter (ask bill clinton about that) but unfortunately a serial philanderer with more skeletons in the closet than are in a haunted house (newt gingrich)
Gingrich should have been nominated and he should have picked cain to run with him, indeed cain decided to support newt in the end, would have been a very entertaining election, gingrich would have taken the gloves off with the president unlike romney who also seemed to put his foot in his mouth whereever he went, gingrich would have done better than the president in the debates, but thats not disparaging the president, I don't think pretty much anyone could beat gingrich, in a debate one on one, the man was even taking out the debate moderators in the primaries one by one and in the end they had to ban the audience from cheering in one debate because of him , But then the media would have got scared and it would have been wall to wall sex scandals involving cain and gingrich, comedians would have had their careers made over the both of them. It would have been turned into a circus, and I think gingrich and cain would have lost ,maybe by not as much because unlike romney they could have got the conservative base out, romney/ ryan ticket in fact did worse than the mcain /palin ticket, because many conservatives refused to go and vote . But gingrich would have wounded obama,because the man is like not being rude about him,he is like cancer, romney was never the same after gingrich was through with him, and maybe that would have been worse for america right now because obama would have been weakened and I think you need a strong leader.
