A sequencer alines MIDI data to a tempo and a grid. A sampler samples audio.

A sequencer/sampler plays back particular samples from the grid when the correct MIDI note is sent to the designated sample.

Please sir tell me how your ASR-10 and MPC do this a different way than other sequencer/samplers?

The only difference is you have less sample time, a lower bit rate on the ASR10, (which can be a desirable sound, but it doesn't make you better) and a longer work flow.

The way it samples is cool too because each chop only uses the RAM of the original sample, but shyt Logic Pro does that too, cept I got 16 gigs for samples, you got 16MB.

At the end of the day though, we're both just choppin samples and then sequencing em. You're not a better carpenter just because you use an original hammer.

no ur wrong

ur an amatuer it shows
Last time I'm going to your troll antics...cause everyone has just shytted on you like a field worm already. I started producing/engineering in 1998 using a push button 4 track...and making beats with a 60 dollar sampler and 100 dollar drum machine. Not soon after that I went to guitar center and purchased cakewalk home studio and propellerhead rebirth. I have had over 100 different artists from Detroit to DC to California come to me JUST for engineering. Nothing Amateur over here buddy. But keep doing your thing.

I been used every possible sequencer and sampler in life and settled on sequencing and sampling in Logic and using a MIDI controller. Still proppin himself up over it.

Ima make a track and lets see if he can guess if it was hardware or software :lolbron:

Exactlty lol. Like, how do nikkaz these days tell if a beat is made on software or hardware. Im sorry but I never subscribed to the theory that using the MPC gave the track/drums and "warm/th" type of feel.
