His Dashing gimmick and tag team with Goldust were his only enjoyable runs to me, didn’t like Stardust though.
Cody's problem is that everything about how he has packaged himself screams "HEEL!" but he has his head so far up his own ass and buys into the idea that he is beloved by fans that he refuses to just embrace the fact that he's not a likable character.I think cody is trying really hard to see where he fits in. His father had charisma and didint need 5 star matches because you wanted HIM to win and when he didint you felt what he had to say about grippin with loss.
GoldDusthad an excellent moveset and a unique character and honestly he could be goofy or have a actual fued. (his best ones to me were when nikkas were afraid he might be gay)
but when i think of cody i think of a guy who knows how to deliver a promo but never delivers and a guy who actually is a good wrestler but doesnt do anything great. maybe hell pull it together when he understands his limitations and builds on his strong points because that promo was fukking terrible.
All the egocentric shyt he does wouldn't be nearly criticized so much if he was doing it as a heel.
When Cody and Ted Jr. teamed up, I thought Cody was gonna be the Jannety of the bunch. Ted fizzled out and I thought I was wrong.
