Did she not look at the last few elections and the demographics? She could have surmised that her white therapist was one of those white women that voted republican. Higher income, probably voting Trump.

She could have been getting her sessions from a black woman in the first place. That aside, I don't care to know politics of my therapist. That's not why I'm there. Most doctors, and therapists I've seen have a strict no sharing policy of topics like that anyways. Don't mention their kids, their childhoods, lifestyles, etc.

They aren't there to be your friend.

Over the last 8 years I’ve seen that a lot. Once you start having conversations you’ll find that most white people that claim to be “independent” are really maga/republican but too cowardly to say it. So they fake like they don’t like any political party but regurgitate conservative talking points.
