yea i got about 30 minutes in and turned that shyt off

just noticed in the thumbnail that the movie hendrix is right handed... jimi was famously left handed

i saw "nominated for a primetime emmy" on the wiki description and didnt finish the article

IIRC they couldn't even license Hendrix' music so it's just generic wannabe Jimi guitar work throughout.

Honestly, I want to be surprised by the casting. So I've never really tried to clock anyone for it. I think it's one of those roles that let the critics and fans be "WHO?" and then let the story play out and be amazed by the performance.

im skipping through it... the 'wild thing' scene where he takes acid before going onstage was the best part

wood was having fun with that shyt at least he was trying

its around the 39:00 mark in the movie

LOL, Wood is cool af, but he's no Jimi. That Monterey scene is almost parody
