I'm not savvy enough about buying computers :birdman:. Specs, different brands, performance/speed, all got me like :dwillhuh: :ohlawd:

For the last 3 years I've been rocking with a HP G50 but its time to upgrade. My HP has been :ehh:, a little slow at times, but overall its done the job.

Will mainly use laptop for homework/microsoft office, browsing web, streaming/downloading. Don't really play cpu games. An HDMI output would be great but is not necessary.

I'd like to keep my budget under $600, but willing to spend a few extra $ for needed upgrades in performance/speed.

Any suggestions/advice is much appreciated

Please help me :eat: breh's

i3 or i5 - i7 is basically over kill and will put you over budget anyways
SSD if possible- Probably the one spec you might wanna spend money on
RAM - Dont worry about it you can always download more
Graphics card - I mean if you not gaming on it it dosent really matter. Onboard should be enough

Something like this

Micro Center - Computers, Electronics, Computer Parts, Networking, Gaming, Software, and more!

Not necessarily. The AMD series are nice alternatives and are much cheaper.

so what would be the AMD equivalent of the i5? Does the SSD make "that" much of a difference? I want my laptop to fly and that downloading of memory does not work :what: I downloaded like 16gb and my computer was still slow :ohhh::sadcam::shaq:

Yes SSD and ram are the two best downloadable upgrades :russ:
