Social media could be the best blessing to us if we learn, and stop the bullshyt. A lot of us, myself included wanted to believe that being liked on an individual level meant white people weren't racist. Now that we see how they are when we're not around, it allows us to come to terms with reality, and support, and focus on building with our own.
I'm glad the younger generation of black kids are learning how the world works. I just wish we'd stop all these damn protests, and stop begging for their approval. You see how they label this as, "one mistake". To them, the mistake is recording it, and exposing themselves, because they know damn well this is common behavior. They care more about the feelings of the white girls who are being called racist, than the feelings of the black kid who heard so called friends call black people the n-word. Remember, being called racist is far more traumatizing than being called the n-word. Oh, ans we call ourselves that word all the time, despite the countless explanations of the context. Let me stop before I go on a rant.
