Either
1) Cut them to SOSA BABY length just above the shoulder
2) Cut them entirely, rock the fade
3) Don't cut them but don't keep them any longer.

But I'mma feel some kind of way if I cut em no matter what BECAUSE I don't mind the length they are at now, but if/when they grow a bit longer I'm gonna start getting annoyed

What line of work are you in or plan on going into? My suggestion will be the same either way but your career path is important also. If you have ones that are falling out then I would suggest you cut your hair. If you are looking at working in the corporate environment, I would say keep your hair low/conservative until you find a nice paying job, then start to grow your locs back when you have discretionary income to spend on a professional that can help maintain your style.

One of the good things about being a software developer is that I can rock anything and nobody gives a shyt. I get somebody to do them once a month maybe. Keep them in pretty decent condition for the most part.

Yes you should. You/your face looks better without them. I think you'd look nice with a 2-3 inch afro.
