as an xbox owner, get a ps3 or wait for the ps4. i dont know anyone that plays the xbox anymore, mostly use it for netflix or zune or other apps. plus ps3 got that bluray player.

my opinion, they are pretty much the same graphically. but im not one of those technical 2000 vs 1999 polygons per second herbs

Yeah I would try to wait. but I can't imagine going through the summer without a gaming system.
I personally would say get a PS3. Once you get it you ready to roll out the box with out worrying about XBox live memberships, batteries for the controller and some other extra shyt you gotta buy to really enjoy the Xbox...
I'm not a hardcore gamer so being able to jump online and play games with my friends, being able to use the web browser, Nextflix and a gang of other stuff for no extra charge is a big plus for me.
There is a reason why Xboxs are considerably cheaper than PS3s now..

nah i seen $60 4GB 360 on sale at Gamestop on more than one occasion. i dont think thats the standard sale price but its not out of the ordinary either. i think they might have been refurbished.
as far as which one to buy, graphics is really so close its not really an issue, but on some games 360 has a very slight edge. PS3 does have better exclusives though.
But realistically, if you are buying this late in the game, you can pick up either cause they both have very extensive and diverse libraries so its not like you will be without anything to play at this point. They are both great systems and you cant go wrong with either. Xbox will probably be cheaper.
but like i said, check your PC specs first cause you might already have gaming ability.
I would say xbox, Better online structure , better shooters, better arcade games , non archaic online/store/chat/game invite/friends/trophies etc set up. the ps3 is cool for single player games but other then that roll with a pc or 360.

never too late considering it has a huge backlog of titles, i would wait til after e3 though prices is about to collapse.
360 is trash. Get a PS3 or build you a PC if you not interested in the Last of US, Beyond Two Souls and GTA V(If it doesn't come to PC same day as Consoles versions).
