Dallas is entering the season with a committee of running backs led by 29-year-old Ezekiel Elliott, who rejoined the Cowboys after spending the 2023 season with the New England Patriots. Rico Dowdle and Royce Freeman are listed behind Elliott on the depth chart.
Elliott was the most productive of the three last season, posting 645 yards and three touchdowns on 3.5 yards per carry and 313 yards and two touchdowns on 51 catches as a part-time starter in New England.
