A simple solution would be not sitting up on twitter interacting with those type of people to begin with. Every time Helldivers gets into controversy it’s because Arrowhead wants to be buddy-buddy with their “fans” which are comprised of a lot of THOSE type of people to begin with.
I can see how what he’s saying isn’t being taken the right way but i also don’t blame anyone for not giving a bunch of white devs the benefit of the doubt anymore. For now there’s no in the actual game either. Again, they should know better considering the climate we’re in, thats why people don’t believe them.

I don't think what he said is being mistranslated, he most likely said what he said. Why would he go out of his way to respond to a post. Also, this dude has a history of crashing out, so it's not shocking he said what he said. I don't know how anybody can slice it different in what he's trying to say. I guess people need neon lights around his words to get his message. No clue if others in his studio feels that way, but it's clear the dude is a clown. Also, I hope people are not reading between the lines because they like the studio/game

its about making not making out of scope games that try to do too many things at once then fail at everything. there's been multiple interviews about this - and it directly addresses the trainwrecks out of major publishers the past few years. google it. look it up. there's no read between the lines for it. hell, other studios started to co opt it to hire talent after larger companies burned through hundreds of devs to put out garbage

At the end of the day he’s still signal boosting alt-right/right wing talking points and giving those people power. This game was already teetering on the edge of it and saying this was basically confirmation they needed to cling onto the game even more and be even more annoying about it.
and the worst part about it is, he wouldn’t even be able to retract what he said without creating another shyt storm. Thats why these dumb cacs need to shut the fukk up and work on the game. The irony is the few NPC’s that are in the game are actaully black and/or women, (one is actually bald)
