i think acting wise he's the perfect one cuz his comedic timing is flawless and he'll bring that serious yet funny thing cable has when he's with deadpool...he's pretty old but fukk it

Cable is 40-50. U need a character that age to portray him. Perlman looks a lil too old

Lang is too short. Reynolds is a lot taller than him, and Cable is supposed to dwarf everyone in size including 6'2" 220 lbs Deadpool..

They could work around that. Hugh Jackman is like 6'3 and towers over everyone but they use different camera angles so it won't show in the film. They even had other stars in the old X-Men films wear platform shoes so they wouldn't appear so short.

Perlman would be great for the role actually. Yeah I know he's a little older but he'd fit
