Precisely.

I'm tired of dudes trying to skirt this religious issue.

Yes, sectarian shyt happens all the time and religion is OFTEN used as a catalyst, but it IS a major identity and source of motivation for these guys so lets not just brush that off.
You know me bruh im calling nikkas out...them boys on here tryna duck the main issue which is religion..

Is the only argument about keeping Iraq's borders intact centered on oil? I'm curious to hear opinions about it.

I honestly don't think anyone cares, it makes the British and French look stupid but what else is new. They drew up the borders during WW1, T.E. Lawrence warned them. America and Maliki could have avoided this if they involved Sunni from the start. As far as America goes one has to wonder if this wasn't the goal fro m the start but I honestly don't think they're as forward thinking as a lot of people would like to portray them as. Maliki is a pigheaded a$$hole like Karzai, he knew it would eventually happen and he gambled on being able to crush opposition and he lost.

Obviously no one wants to see the rise of another Islamic state where they just focused a ton of energy. At the end of the day Iraq and it's like are good training operations for the future.
You cant stem Saudi and the Gulf states desire for dominance just as much as you can't stem Iran's. Iran was running operations in Iraq since soon after we beat Saddam. This is just how it is in my opinion, the Middle East will not change until the Levant if not the world is under Sunni control.

It was only a matter of time... seems like they are aiming for a lightining takeover... moving really fast before anyone can react. Baghdad better not fall though.. as Iraqi military how do you let a ragabond group of a 1,000 or so take over your city of 7 MILLION. What type pf p*ssy shyt is that?!
The army took off their uniform and ran away. I can't even make that up.

It's funny how the US arms these guys to fight in Syria, they start losing, then say fukk it and return to Iraq which is what they wanted in the first place. More shortsighted foreign policy from the US.

:heh: at people thinking Iraq will be divided in 3. ISIS doesn't respect international law, their aim is to rebuild the Islamic Caliphate over all Muslim land.

You guys are putting all Syrian groups into the same basket. The US has never armed ISIS in Syria, they've armed secular & moderate groups to fight against ISIS (vice had a video on this where a fighter clearly said "the US only gives weapons to groups who fight ISIS").

Those Syrian secular/moderate groups launched a massive attack on ISIS in early 2014 but it backfired and ISIS is even stronger now despite their lower numbers.

Iraq is a bit different to Syria as local Sunnis are supporting ISIS hence their ability to take over cities & regions.

I meant you didn't denounce it...you excused it...that's what im disappointed at...what the US (Obama) say have no bearing on me...a coup happened in Egypt and he refused to call it as such cause admitting that means we cnt provide Egypt with military help to crush the terrorists in the Sinai...since Obama didnt call a spade a spade should I do the same? You know the answer to that

Again what does denouncing it change? I can say it's wrong all day long but the actions by people I can't control done it. Btw...where were you when aL-Q was destroying the Christian Village Maaloula killing the residents and the MSM was silent about the outrage? U.S. supported the AL-Q to destroy Libya and Syria and yet no denouncing of that. What no hashtags?

If you to bash Muslims in the world but silent when U.S. backs the very Muslims you hate.

1. Sorry to break it to you Van but there is no moderate groups. Those small percentage of people protesting in 2011 funded by the U.S. do it peacefully and never will pick up a weapon to fight. Those syrian groups were marginalized by militants who were already living there( a bigger percentage) but more importantly outsiders who aren't even Syrian took over.

2. VICE can put up a nice doc when they can but lies are lies and they can easily spread them. Look at Libya, their doc is riddled with propaganda and lies and didn't want to see the other side of the story. Same as goes for their Syria doc. They getting paid big money to not speak the truth by HBO.

3. The arms from Libya that were seized were shipped to many african countries to support AL-Q like groups to keep the WAR on Terror relevant and profitable.

Skirt around it? I addressed it. You seem to be very quiet on Western Divide and Conquer tactics. shyt they do it to our people in the states and your ass is silent.

It won't change nothing but you can distence your self frm it...in this world silence is acceptance...I was against every action we take in Syria...I believe bashar al-Assad is the best option for Syria...I spoke against it...it didnt change nothing bt make people see that the actions don't have my silent support

How much is a distance from it? I can speak my mind of being against....that's one but when your tax dollars are spent in your name to kill others around the world.

In the Silver Lining
I'm not even mad with whats going on.

BOrders need to be redrawn anyways.

The Sykes-Picot agreement basically fukked that entire region and they never recovered.

Iraq was never even supposed to be a "thing" :heh:

If this is the logic then the entire global political boundaries is one big clusterfuuck..... I would be wary using that as logic, when you extend to the rest of globe :patrice:... :usure:

Not sure where you're getting your info from. There's plenty of secular & moderated rebel groups.

The SRF and Hazm brigades are perfect examples.
