Imagine if we had prime JR commentary for this heel turn :wow::banderas:

"Why, John?!! Why?!! Do you have no heart? Do you have no conscience? Do you have no soul? You sonuva bytch!!! :damn:"

"JOHN CENA HAS JUST BEHEADED CODY RHODES WITH THE WWE BAH-GAWD TITLE! WILL SOMEBODY STOP THIS?! :damn: "

"He's desperate, J.R. You try winning your 17th title in your retirement year, you'll see how hard it is. :manny:"

"JOHN CENA HAS JUST DIMMED CODY RHODES' LIGHTS WITH HIS FATHER'S WATCH, AND THE WWE TITLE BELT! I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT #17, KING! :damn: "

"And now, Rock giving Travis Scott instructions! RIGHT IN CODY'S FACE! I SWEAR TO GOD, THAT KID WILL HAVE DOUBLE VISION! AND THE BELT! ROCK IS BRANDING CODY LIKE A WOUNDED ANIMAL! THAT SON OF A bytch! SOMEONE HAS TO PUT A STOP TO THIS! :damn:'

"WHETHER ANYONE LIKES IT OR NOT, JOHN CENA HAS JOINED FORCES WITH SATAN HIMSELF! ON THIS DAY, THE FIRST OF MARCH IN 2025, OUR INDUSTRY WILL NEVER BE THE SAME! :damn:"

This is one of those storylines where it actually makes sense for lifelong company man and best for business guy Cena to turn and it will be interesting to see how they handle it. You could run it either as him desperate to get whatever advantage he can get to get to 17, or that he's a righteous heel standing up for the company when the super face of the company refuses to do what he sees as best for business.

This angle desperately needs Stone Cold to pop up on Cody's side though. Doesn't need to be a match. Just a segment with all four that ends with the last Rock mega oversell stunner and putting Cody over as the heir apparent to somehow both Austin and Cena at the same time.

Dog, LA Knight joining Cena and Rock would be :banderas: especially with a rotating stable of celebrity lackeys like Travis Scott. I know people hated his involvement but the absurdity of it added to the moment. It was just icing on the cake.

Rock doesn't need a Rock cosplayer hanging around.

I just REALLY hope it's done right.

I saw Russo try to turn Sting multiple times and it just never should have happened. BUT I don't think Cena has those morals holding him back like Sting did either.
