As best I can tell, Bam plays to his strengths more than AD does/should.

AD is more naturally gifted, has better shot blocking instincts, and he’s more physically gifted but Bam has better positional defense probably due to being undersized.

Bam is also a much better passer than AD as well.

He's better than AD. At least at this stage. He does so much more for winning basketball. Jimmy gets way too much credit when Bam is their best player. You take Bam away and Miami defense doesn't work. shyt, their offense doesn't work either.

Bam is their most important player but Jimmy is the best because he puts the batteries in the back of the others.

I’ve said this numerous times that the only reason we can play guys like Duncan, Martin, and Gabe is because Bam is a legitimate defensive anchor and could be a DPOTY candidate.

He’s not consistent enough to be number one scoring option on all nights but his role as a release valve playmaker supercharges are offense. His passing and screen setting is worth more than a few more post moves

are any of these analysts gonna talk about how bad jokic is on defense? all miami is doing is hunting him on the pnr :pachaha:

i guess its more exciting to talk about how good his bounce passes are instead :wow:
Jokic's defense, or lack thereof as you perceive it, has been a talking point all season. It was one of the main reasons why he didn't win MVP because it used as propaganda to take away from the season he was having. What rock have you been living under that you didn't witness that?

But to that point - if your takeaway was how bad his defense was, when he contained Butler on almost every drive, held his own on switches (even drew an offensive foul on Lowry) and played good positional defense for most of the game, then how bad do you believe the rest of the team played on that end?

Jimmy is the most productive and he's critical like Toronto Kawhi to Miami success. For me, the best is impact. Bam is by far the biggest impact player.

Bam is the best player. He might not be a #1 option or even a true #2 option on a contender but he's an elite #3 who you can run the offense through and defense through.

AD has no motor. When I watch Bam play I see a level of tenacity I haven't seen in AD.

AD is Obviously way more talented but just looks like he's playing ball just to play ball, even when he scores 40
Tbf AD had a motor when he was blocking shots and dominating Morant and Curry out of the paint to win those series.
It's just that AD tends be mercurial and zoom in and out of games

Why wasn't this ref and bad officiating excuse used when Miami went to the FT line only 2 times game 1? No one was complaining about refs after game 1....

Breh, Spoelstra himself literally came out and said there was no problems with that because they didn't attack enough to get to the line.

I swear nikkas just be checking the box scores after the game :laff:

Expect to go to the line when you spend all game taking wide open mid range jumpers brehs

Let me help you fellas out:
  1. “it’s just one game”
  2. “Jokic did his job tho. What more can he do?”
  3. “They were undefeated at home they had to lose at some point”
  4. “Joker’s teammates didn’t step up”
  5. “Miami played their best game”
  6. “Jamal Murray has to play better”
  7. “Mike Malone should’ve made some better adjustments”

8. Future MVP, Michael Porter Jr. was the worst player on the floor and can't continue to be worse than Ben Simmons if the Nuggets want to win.
